Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Unity Sites, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and site owners.

2. Service Description

Unity Sites is a website creation and hosting platform operated by Unity Network. We provide tools to build, publish, and manage static websites on subdomains of unity.ws or custom domains you own. The service is currently in public beta.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when registering. One person may not operate multiple free accounts. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use Unity Sites to:

• Publish spam, phishing, or deceptive content
• Distribute malware or engage in illegal activity
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, threaten, or harm any person
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
• Resell or redistribute the service without written permission

We may remove content or suspend access without notice if we determine a violation has occurred.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create and publish through Unity Sites. By publishing content, you grant Unity Network a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and serve that content as necessary to operate the platform. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose beyond operating the service.

6. Beta Period and Pricing

Unity Sites is currently free during the beta period. We will provide reasonable notice before introducing paid plans. Users who register during the beta period may be eligible for discounted pricing when paid plans launch.

7. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Unity Sites available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Disclaimers

Unity Sites is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. Use of the service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unity Network shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use Unity Sites, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page. Upon termination, your published sites will be taken offline and your data will be deleted within 30 days. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.
