Unity Network operates Unity Sites (“the Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. We keep data collection minimal and do not sell your personal data.
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. Your password is hashed using bcrypt before storage and is never readable by us.
Content you create within Unity Sites — pages, posts, settings, media — is stored in our database to power your published websites.
We may collect basic usage information such as page views, feature interactions, and error logs to improve the platform. This data is aggregated and not linked to individually identifiable users unless necessary for debugging.
Our servers automatically record IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps in standard server logs. Logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and diagnostics.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Your data is stored on servers hosted by Hetzner Cloud in Falkenstein, Germany. Published static sites are served via Vercel's global edge network. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
We use a single HTTP-only session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie does not track your activity across other websites and is deleted when your session expires or you log out. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
We use the following third-party services in the operation of Unity Sites:
